The Role: Service Advisor / Customer Advocate
You're the voice and face of Crown Automotive — often the very first and last impression a customer has of our shop. This role sits at the front counter and on the phones, translating great technical work into an experience customers trust and come back for.
What you'll own:
Answering every incoming call — customers always come first (Priority: 1st) Front counter check-in and check-out, walking customers through their visit start to finish Keeping accurate, detailed customer records, service history, and vehicle notes in Tekmetric Confirming parts are on hand before a job starts, working hand-in-hand with our Parts Manager (Priority: 2nd) Building strong vendor relationships to keep jobs moving and pricing competitive Clear, honest communication of estimates, approvals, and repair recommendations

Prior service advisor or customer-facing automotive experience is a big plus, but character and teachability matter more than a perfect resume.
Pay & Growth Base pay: $25/hour, 40-hour work week +$0.50/hr for every year of verified experience +$1/hr for earning your Service Writer ASE certification +$2/hr for completing the NAPA AutoCare Training program +$1/hr for hitting three 5-star reviews in one week +$0.50/hr for every customer testimonial you bring in weekly

What You'll Do
● Perform advanced diagnostics (electrical, drivability, complex issues)
● Handle high-skill and high-efficiency repair work
● Support and mentor other technicians when needed
● Maintain workflow, quality control, and shop efficiency on assigned jobs
● Communicate clearly with service advisors on diagnostic findings
● Lead by example in professionalism, organization, and workmanship
What We're Looking For● 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
● Proven A-Level diagnostic ability
● Strong electrical and drivability troubleshooting skills
● Leadership mindset – someone who naturally helps elevate the team
● Own tools required
● ASE certifications strongly preferred (and rewarded)
● Valid driver's license
Pay & Benefits
● Flat Rate + Hourly Hybrid Pay: $22–$52/hour based on experience, tools, and ASE certifications

This is a leadership position—we're looking for someone who can run advanced diagnostics, keep the shop's workflow and quality on track, and be the person other techs go to for answers.
What You'll Do
● Perform advanced diagnostics (electrical, drivability, complex issues)
● Support, mentor, and check the work of other technicians
● Own overall workflow, quality control, and shop efficiency
● Communicate clearly with service advisor on diagnostic findings and job status
● Help resolve technical roadblocks across all hoists
● Lead by example in professionalism, organization, and workmanship
What We're Looking For
● 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
● Proven A-Level diagnostic ability
● Strong electrical and drivability troubleshooting skills
● Proven leadership ability – someone the team naturally looks to
● Own tools required
● ASE certifications strongly preferred (and rewarded)
● Valid driver's license
Pay & Benefits
● Salary: $93,600/year ($45/hour base), based on experience and certifications
